Vijayawada: Vijayawada MP Kesineni Sivanath (Chinni) has been elected as the new president of the Andhra Cricket Association (ACA).
In his first major announcement after taking office, he pledged to work towards bringing international cricket matches to Mangalagiri and Kadapa stadiums, expanding the state’s cricketing venues beyond the Visakhapatnam Stadium, which is currently the only host for international matches in Andhra Pradesh.
The ACA’s special plenary meeting was conducted on Sunday.
