Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Metro achieved its highest-ever daily ridership of 5.60 lakh passengers on August 14. In its latest financial results for Q2FY2025, the metro saw an improvement in average ridership, rising to 4.68 lakh passengers per day, up from 4.32 lakh in Q1FY2025.
During the earnings call, P. Ramakrishnan, Head of Investor Relations at L&T, highlighted that this growth in ridership also surpassed Q2FY2024’s daily average of 4.62 lakh.
Despite the record ridership, Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T), reported a consolidated loss at the Profit After Tax (PAT) level of Rs 2.07 billion for the quarter ending in September,
reduction from the Rs 2.14 billion net loss recorded in Q1FY2025 and a marked improvement compared to the Rs 3.35 billion loss in Q1FY2024.
