Remember this is a 39 kWh battery that has done 50,000+ km.

I finally did a proper intercity run in my Kona, driving from Delhi to Dehradun and back. On the way back I decided to see if I could get to Delhi without recharging en route.
The predicted range was 311 km when I started out, which felt low to me given that I have occasionally seen 380-390 km in the right conditions. After driving 305 km the battery showed 17%, which translates into a full range of 367 km.
I drove in Comfort mode and the AC was on about a third of the time, although the outside temperature was 30-31 degrees at most which made the AC work less by north Indian standards. Also I recently put in new Continental UC6 tyres that do not have low rolling resistance unlike the stock Nexens.
The initial downhill from Dehradun might have boosted the range a bit but coming close to 370 km is very impressive by any standard. Remember this is a 39 kWh battery that has done 50,000+ km. The efficiency of the Kona is truly next level.
