Giving back to society is the only way to live after death: Kiran Prabha

VIJAYAWADA: Renowned Telugu author and speaker settled in the United States of America, Kiran Prabha has said that he will talk about the legendary personalities in his talk-shows only after thorough research into lives of the personalities.
Kiran Prabha, who conducted more than 1350 talk-shows on radio and addressed millions of students across the globe, was felicitated here at a meeting held at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan on Thursday.
Intach state general secretary SVS Lakshminarayana, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan secretary P Ramachandra Raju presided over the function. Central GST commissioner Sadhu Narasimha Reddy, industrialist Bommidala Krishna Murthy, Kiran Prabha’s wife Kanti Kiran were present.
Addressing the gathering, Kiran Prabha said that he has shared the biographies of about 700 famous people with the listeners.
“I will read 15-20 books before doing a talk show about a personality to know the complete facts. I do not want my audience, particularly students to get even a small piece of misinformation,” said Kiran Prabha.
He observed that one should get respect in the society only when they are humble to others irrespective of their position. He said that no one should think that they are big even after realizing their dreams in life as there is nothing called big in reality.
He said that people would value the unpretentious approach of individuals but not their position. He suggested people think really big about giving back to society when grown up.
“People will recognize our services to society, not our wealth. We really do not know what heirs will do to society after one’s death. So, try to make yourselves remembered by the future generations by giving back to society while you are hale and hearty,” said Kiran Prabha.
He said that he would share only positive things from the biographies of the legendary personalities as he wanted to inspire the younger generation. He said that negativity would not help anyone and people should refrain from spreading negativities of persons known to them.
GST commissioner Sadhu Narasimha Reddy lauded the amazing work of Kiran Prabha in inspiring millions of Telugu students across the globe with his talk-shows.
He said that the younger generation is badly missing the habit of reading and parents should try to make the children reading a habit right from their tender age.
“Younger generation is spending a lot of time on mobiles and rarely reading a book or a magazine. We can learn many things from reading a book. Talk shows really inspire people,” said Narasimha Reddy. ‘Kaumudi Kiranalu’ book scripted by Peddi Sambasiva Rao was released on the occasion.
Earlier in the day, Kiran Prabha was felicitated at Vignan university. Vignan chairman Dr Lavu Rathaiah said that Kiran Prabha was a big inspiration for the younger generation as they should learn storytelling and narrating skills to succeed in their careers.
