Kurnool: Municipal Commissioner S. Ravindra Babu has announced that measures are being taken to address Kurnool’s drinking water supply issues. On Saturday, he visited the old pump house on Sunkesula Road and the Khana-Khajana area in Birla Compound, accompanied by other officials.
During the inspection, Ravindra Babu highlighted ongoing efforts to ensure a reliable and sustainable water supply for the city. He also mentioned that proposals are being developed for a new 3 MLD water treatment plant at the old pump house.
Additionally, the commissioner instructed the removal of a wall that was blocking access between Khana-Khajana and Silver Jubilee College. Superintending Engineer G. Rajasekhar, DEE Manohar Reddy, and other officials participated in the inspection.
