One of the latest films released in the theaters this week is a youth full romantic movie “Roti Kapada Romance”. Let’s see how this movie is in the review.
Story:
If we come to the story.. Rahul (Sandeep Saroj), Vicky (Supraj Ranga) and Surya (Tarun Ponuganti) and Harsha (Harsha Narra) are four best friends since their childhood and lead a happy life. But the four girls who came into their happy life, Priya (Sonia Thakur), Shweta (Megha Lekha) and Divya (Nuveksha) and Sonia (Khushboo Chaudhary), how their lives turned. What is the essence of their love stories? In the end, we have to see how their stories end on the screen.
Plus Points:
It must be said that this can also be included in the decent films that have come in the backdrop of many youthful entertainers and four friends in our Telugu cinema so far. It is good that the director has made the story of four friends in the main lead as their characters well and perfectly. Also, four young heroes have done justice to each of those roles.
When watching these four on screen, one can definitely feel that a batch of friends saw themselves in them. And the director has shown the beautiful emotion of friendship on them. It should be said that along with them, the young heroines who have acted alongside them have all performed perfectly in whatever role they were given and nailed it.
All this main lead has given good emotions in terms of performance, comedy timings and gestures expressed according to the situation in the movie. Also, it can be said that Vicky Shweta’s track as well as Surya Divya’s tracks in the movie are impressive. These are well written by the director. Also the ending of the movie is good for them. And the ending is impressive as it says that no one is to blame in love stories.
Minus Points:
There are many flaws in this movie. If there are four love tracks in the main lead, only two of them seem very weak and logicless. In the love tracks of Sonia and Harsha and Rahul Priya, the Sonia – Harsha track seems a bit illogical.
Also Rahul and Priya’s track is very regular but a routine emotional reason from the girl’s side seems very weak in the film. Also, the endings of their tracks are not that emotional. In one scene, it can be said that it is a technical error to show it early in the morning even in India and the US.
Also, like lip lock scenes and some bold dialogues, the family audience may find it a little bit tough. Also all the pairs are good on screen but the pair of Sandeep Saroj and Sonia Thakur is not so perfect. And some scenes feel too routine and predictable if the story is told.
Technical category:
Although it is a small film, the producers have made this film with solid production values. The richness of the situation is seen in the film. Also in the technical team Sunny MR, Harsha Vardhan Rameshwar and RR Dhruvan’s score and songs are good. Santosh Reddy’s cinematography is also good. Editing should be better.
And when it comes to director Vikram Reddy… he has taken two beautiful emotions namely love and friendship. But it must be said that friendship has been presented perfectly. His comedy writing brought out many dialogues as well as good performances from the actors. If not, his love story tracks would have been better designed. Some of the tracks are designed to make the youth whistling, but some sound poor. Overall, his direction is not bad for the movie.
Verdict:
Overall, it can be said that this “Roti Kapada Romance” is decent to watch if it is a batch of friends. All the main leads have given good performances. Also some tracks may connect well with the youth. If not, the director who presented the friendship well would have designed the love track even better. With these, the film seems a bit routine, but it doesn’t matter.
