Hyderabad: A 24-year-old Vikram Mahanty of Hyderabad, who left home on Saturday, was found dead in a lake near Shivareddypet village in Vikarabad district on Sunday. Police said he might have accidentally fallen into the lake along with his scooter and died. A missing case was registered at Kushaiguda police station in the city after he went missing from his home.
According to the police, Mahanty, a resident of Chakripuram, Kushaiguda, had been working for a multinational company for the past three years, but due to family problems and other financial needs, he got into debt. Upset, he left home on his scooter and informed his parents that he was going to Vikarabad. A case has been registered at the Vikarabad police station and further investigation is underway, police said.
