Hyderabad: It’s winter, but it appears as if people in Hyderabad and its surrounding districts are in the midst of an extended monsoon season.
After a fortnight of chilly weather conditions, where the minimum temperatures dropped to a minimum of 11 degree Celsius in city outskirts, Hyderabad is expected to experience a week full of rain, cloudy weather and minimum temperatures well above 15 degree Celsius at nights.
Based on the five-day forecast from Indian Meteorological Department (IMD)-Hyderabad, Telangana Development Planning Society (TDPS) and the outlook from amateur weather trackers located in Hyderabad, the pattern of weather will continue to remain the same for one more week.
The current spell of weather, with its cool, humid conditions and sporadic spells of showers are expected to continue till December 9, not only in Hyderabad but across all the districts of Telangana State.
A week ago, the minimum temperatures in northern parts of Telangana used to hover from 7 degree Celsius to 8 degree Celsius. However, now, in almost all the locations, the minimum night time and early morning temperatures are hovering between 20 degree Celsius and 22 degree Celsius, based on IMD-Hyderabad data.
