MATH and Google Host AI Academy Bootcamp in Hyderabad

MATH, the pioneering hub for AI and ML technologies under the collaborative effort of the Department of Science and Technology (DST), has allied with Google for Startups to bring the AI Academy India Bootcamp to Hyderabad. This three-day boot camp from December 4th to 6th aims at arming early-stage startups harnessing AI to address major health, agriculture, climate, education, financial inclusion, cybersecurity, and public infrastructure problems. The initiative will arm the startups with tools, knowledge, and mentorship to scale and create human-centered AI solutions.

This initiative has been taken as a part of the Google for Startups AI Academy India program aiming to empower 10,000 Indian startups with resources including credit on cloud and marketing through effective mentorship and networking events across its geographic perimeter. To realize such ambitious objectives, Hyderabad-the very fast-thriving ground and emerging platform, for technology and innovation-seemed to be an outstanding choice, with MATH playing a crucial role for delivering the program. As a key partner, MATH will host the event at their state-of-the-art facility with spaces such as Pinnacle and Board rooms. This also means that MATH will become a knowledge partner in supplying resources and guidance to participating startups, while working with Google to identify and onboard promising AI-focused startups to participate in the bootcamp. In addition, MATH will mentor and support startups who explore potential future pipeline opportunities to drive continued growth and innovation. It will host expert-led sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities for the bootcamp. It will provide a dynamic platform for startups to get insights from industry leaders in AI and technology. On the collaboration, Rahul Paith, CEO, MATH, said, “This partnership with Google for Startups underlines our commitment to fostering a vibrant AI ecosystem in India”. Hyderabad is emerging as a major player in tech-driven innovation”, the bootcamp will be an empowering move for startups to be able to tackle real-world problems using the latest AI solutions, the partnership between MATH and Google for Startups is likely to further build the strength of India’s AI ecosystem through creating a strong pipeline of AI startups, increasing Hyderabad’s position as an innovation hub, and building impactful AI-driven solutions.
