Hyderabad: The Telangana govt-led T-Hub has been instrumental in supporting the rise of 11 soonicorns and 58 minicorns. Plans are afoot to transform it into a dynamic innovation centre that will support more startups in their journey to become unicorns, IT minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu said on Friday.
“Our vision for T-Hub is ambitious—we aim to transform it from a coworking space into a dynamic innovation centre, elevating it from simple infrastructure to a powerhouse of intelligence hub, from only supporting startups to actively nurturing soonicorns and the next wave of unicorns, from reliance on grants to strategic funding, from basic incubation to true accelerator,” he said.
“This transformation is not just a step forward for startups—it will be a catalyst for industry-wide growth and a bold statement that Telangana is poised to be a global leader in innovation and entrepreneurship,” Sridhar Babu said at the 9th Foundation Day celebrations of the country’s largest startup incubator.
T-Hub also unveiled a state-of-the-art Experience Centre 2.0, which will showcase innovative solutions from over 20 startups and provide a platform for startups to engage with corporates.
The day also saw rollout of T-DRIVE, an exclusive platform for defence & aerospace startups that will link them with corporates, academia. T-DRIVE will support development and commercialisation of defence tech in line with ‘Make in India’, T-Hub said.
Three products developed in T-Hub were showcased. HirePlusPlus introduced Maya, touted as world’s first AI-powered interviewer, Gravton Motors showed its scalable electric powertrain solutions, Meridian Data Labs unveiled Honeycomb, a real-time IoT platform integrating geospatial analysis and GenAI for industries.
