NEW DELHI: The stage is set for the much-anticipated Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 Auction, scheduled for December 15 in Bengaluru.
A total of 120 players, including top international stars and domestic talents, will go under the hammer as franchises look to bolster their squads for the upcoming season.
With 19 slots available, including 5 reserved for overseas players, the auction is set to ignite fierce bidding wars as teams strategize to acquire game-changing talents.
The list of 120 players for the auction includes 91 Indian and 29 overseas cricketers, with 3 from Associate Nations, stated a WPL media release.
Among them, 82 are uncapped Indian players, while 8 are uncapped overseas players, adding an exciting mix of emerging talent to the pool.
With the WPL gaining momentum as a premier T20 competition, this auction is expected to further elevate the league’s excitement and competitiveness, offering fans a glimpse of the talent that will light up the tournament.
The much-awaited player auction will begin at 3 PM (IST).
