The new Camry sources power from a 2.5L petrol engine benefited with Toyota’s fifth-generation hybrid system. This engine produces 230bhp and 220Nm of torque, which is a 12bhp increase over the previous model. The power is sent through an eCVT (electronically controlled continuously variable transmission) gearbox.
Safety Features
The 2024 Toyota Camry is equipped with the Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 suite, which includes Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System). This suite features radar-based cruise control, pre-collision assist with pedestrian detection, road sign assist, lane tracing assist, and automatic high beams. It also features heated and ventilated 10-way powered front seats, ventilated and reclining rear seats with controls in a rear center console, three-zone automatic climate control, digital key functionality, and a panoramic sunroof with a retractable sunshade.
