On a fateful evening in New Westminster, Canada, a deeply tragic incident led to the charging of a 57-year-old man, Balvir Singh, with second-degree murder in the case of Kulwant Kaur’s untimely demise.
Here’s what happened: On October 13, 2023, at around 5 PM, the police got a call for help and hurried to a place on Suzuki Street. When they arrived, they found Kulwant Kaur, who was 46 years old, in really bad shape, like she was very hurt and might not make it.
Despite valiant efforts from the responding officers and the BC Emergency Health Services, Kaur tragically succumbed to her injuries on the scene.
Within this heartbreaking context, the 57-year-old suspect, Balvir Singh, was identified and promptly taken into custody by the attentive first responders.
