Guntur civic staff told to ensure quality in execution of works

Guntur Municipal Commissioner Puli Srinivasulu has directed the officials to ensure strict adherence to quality standards in ongoing development projects. He instructed quality control staff and amenity secretaries to monitor projects at every stage and report any irregularities promptly.

During his inspection tour on Friday at Nallapadu, Vidya Nagar, Reddy Palem, and LR Nagar areas, the Commissioner emphasised the importance of maintaining quality in development activities undertaken to resolve local issues. Contractors were advised to comply with quality norms, while quality control staff were instructed to record the progress systematically.

The Commissioner also urged amenity secretaries to conduct daily field inspections and report any quality lapses to senior officials without delay. He specifically ordered to expedite the completion of culvert construction work on the Nallapadu railway station road.

Engineering officials were instructed to thoroughly review the estimates prepared for upcoming development projects to ensure feasibility and precision.
