KTR Praises Naidu’s Vision for Development

BRS working president and former minister K.T. Rama Rao yet again praised TDP national president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for his vision and commitment to development.

Addressing mediapersons, KTR said that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister initiated the proposal to bring Formula One motor sporting car racing event to Hyderabad in 2001. Naidu even met Bernie Ecclestone, Formula 1 CEO and British Business magnate, and promised to make all the arrangements for holding the event in Hyderabad. Naidu wanted to bring the global sport event to India and make Hyderabad the hub for the sport.

As part of it, Naidu issued notices for acquisition of 580 acres of land near Gopannapalli, to build a permanent track for the Formula 1 racing, KTR said. However, it did not take shape for various reasons.

At the same time, KTR reminded that it was Naidu’s vision to establish Genome Valley. The proposal was made a reality at Turkapalli in 2001 and it helped Hyderabad win the recognition as the Vaccine Hub for the World, KTR reminded.

These remarks by KTR speak volumes about the dedication and commitment of Naidu to development.

His administrative prowess and vision, tripled with his humbleness, have made the veteran politician synonymous with development and troubleshooting.

Acknowledgement from unexpected quarters, rival parties in particular, serves as a boost to the seasoned politician who had been in public service for the last 40 years.
