The Triumph Thruxton 400 has been spied testing in India. The caf racer version of the Speed 400 was recently spotted near the Bajaj factory in Pune. The Thruxton 400 is instantly recognizable from its bubble-type fairing. It’s similar to the Thruxton big bike and houses a round headlamp. The bike also has clip-on handlebars, a single-piece seat, a single upswept exhaust and the mandatory saree guard. The Thruxton 400 will be powered by the same engine as the Speed 400. The 399cc, single-cylinder unit puts out 39.5 BHP and 37.5 Nm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox via a torque-assist clutch. The Thruxton 400 will be equipped with an upside-down front fork and a monoshock at the rear. The brake setup will include disc brakes at both ends. Source:Rushlane
