The Hindu – Future India Club’s (TH-FIC) ‘Unlock Your Future’ seminar took place on Monday at the Keshav Memorial Institute of Technology (KMIT), Narayanaguda.

Jointly organised by The Hindu FIC and KP’s 21st Century IAS Academy, the event was inaugurated by Deepa, academic director of KMIT, and Priyanka Saxena, head of the Computer Science and Engineering department at KMIT. The seminar aimed to provide students with valuable guidance on preparing for Civil Services and other competitive examinations.

Bhavani Shankar, director of KP’s 21st Century IAS Academy, addressed the students, highlighting the importance of focused preparation for achieving success in competitive exams. He stressed the need for unwavering commitment and consistency, advising students to build a strong foundation by thoroughly understanding concepts taught up to class 10, with the help of NCERT textbooks. He also encouraged students to develop the habit of reading newspapers daily, which he described as essential for building a robust knowledge base.

He highlighted the role of analytical skills in navigating the challenges of competitive exams, noting that those abilities are integral to the selection process. By cultivating a strong analytical mindset, students can enhance their problem-solving capabilities and significantly improve their prospects for success in both academic and professional arenas.

Colleges interested in organising similar sessions for their students are encouraged to contact Madhu Mohan Chakravarthy on 91829-74964.
