Legendary Malayalam actor Mohan Lal says that he has been visiting Hyderabad quite a few times and enjoyed his stay here. “I have done a couple of Telugu movies and I adore this fascinating city and its people too,” he says and adds, “I love Hyderabad food and I have many great friends in the city and I love this climate too,” he said at an event to promote his upcoming film. ‘Barozz 3D is a fantasy film and unique since no one has tried it in the last 40 years,” says Mohanal who turned director for this path-breaking. “We had to organize a lot of equipment, gadgets, time, and money and it is a congregation of great minds,’ except for me,” he chuckles.
Actually, Mohan Lal has become a household name in Tollywood with his splendid performance in films like ‘Janatha Garage’ and his scenes with Jr NTR received loads of appreciation. He also did a smaller film like ‘Manamantha’ but it failed to impress the viewers. He is again playing a significant role in ‘Kannappa’ and will be showcasing his acting brilliance once again.
His Malayalam blockbusters like ‘Drishyam’ were remade in Telugu with Venkatesh in the lead, while his action film ‘Lucifer’ was remade as ‘Godfather’ with Chiranjeevi playing the fearless gangster. His dubbed film ‘Puli Murugan’ also raked money in Telugu states and an immensely talented actor has gained Telugu fans too.
