Keeping aside the controversy that erupted due to the ‘Pushpa 2’ stampede incident which resulted in the death of a lady named Revathi, the family has been getting adequate support from Tollywood. Producer and Film Development Corporation chairman Dil Raju intervened at the right time to settle the issue between the family and the actor. He also vowed to settle the misunderstanding between the government and the film industry.

Meanwhile, Allu Arjun’s father and notable producer Allu Arvind once again visited the victim’s family in the hospital today afternoon after taking prior permission from the police department. He announced that a total of 2 Crores will be supported by Pushpa 2 team. While Allu Arjun contributed 1 Crore on his behalf, director Sukumar and the production house donated 50 lakhs each.

Arvind stated that Sri Teja is recovering well and also confirmed that he is out of danger as the ventilator support has been moved by the doctors. He thanked Dil Raju for his timely intervention and acting as a bridge between the family and the team. He handed over the cheques to Dil Raju and requested him to take care of the responsibility.

Dil Raju already assured that Revathi’s husband Bhaskar will be given employment and also promised to support the child’s treatment.

It is a known fact that Allu Arjun attended the special premiere of Pushpa 2 at Sandhya theatre before the release date. Due to overcrowding at the theatre, the police were unable to control the situation. Revathi’s family were stuck in the stampede at lower balcony as crowd tried to get a glimpse of Allu Arjun who was present at the upper balcony. Despite performing CPR, Revathi succumbed to injuries and Sri Teja went into unconscious state.
