Jagadish Vengala takes charge as chairman of ICI-Vijayawada centre

Professor and head of the department of civil engineering at P.V.P. Siddhartha Institute of Technology (PVPSIT) Jagadish Vengala has been appointed chairman of the Indian Concrete Institute (ICI), Vijayawada centre, for the 2024–2026. With over two decades of experience in teaching, research and the industry, Mr. Vengala is expected to lead initiatives promoting innovation in concrete technology, professional development and industry collaborations. Principal of PVPSIT K. Sivaji Babu said the ICI plays a critical role in ensuring concrete quality as construction activities pick up in Amaravati.
