42nd Annual General Meeting of RINL held in Visakhapatnam

The 42nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited, a Navratna PSU, was held at its registered office here on Friday

Ajit Kumar Saxena, CMD (Additional Charge), RINL, chaired the meeting. Sudershan Mendiratta, Director, Ministry of Steel (MoS), attended the AGM on behalf of President of India as authorised nominee.

Arun Kanti Bagchi, Director (Projects) & Addl. Charge Director (Operations), Suresh Chandra Pandey, Director (Personnel), Ch.S.R.V.G.K. Ganesh, Director (Finance), G.V.N. Prasad, Director (Commercial) and Dr Sanjay Roy, Government Director, attended the AGM.

The Company Affairs Department of RINL coordinated the proceedings of the meeting.

Mr. Ajit Kumar Saxena addressed the shareholders of RINL/Visakhapatnam Steel Plant and explained the position of the company. In his address, he reviewed the company’s performance, and outlined strategic steps taken during the financial year 2023-24. He further highlighted the achievements in production and briefed the challenges faced during the financial year 2023-24.
