Police constables from Vizag Central Jail stage protest

Several police constables from the Visakhapatnam Central Jail on Saturday (December 28) boycotted their duties and staged a protest in front of the prison office, alleging that the Jail Superintendent humiliated them in front of prisoners. Responding to the issue, Minister for Home Affairs V. Anitha ordered an inquiry. She also spoke with the Jail Department authorities over the issue.
