The USA is breaking down – A violent erosion of Safety, National Security, and Democracy is taking place all across our Nation, Donald Trump wrote on X.

US President-elect Donald Trump has blamed “open borders” for the murder of 14 people in a truck attack on a crowd of New Year revelers in New Orleans. He dubbed US a “laughing stock all over the world”.
The attacker, identified as Shamsud-Din Jabbar, 42, drove a pick-up truck and rammed into crowds gathered on Bourbon Street in the heart of New Orleans’ French Quarter.
Apparently inspired by the Islamic State group (IS), Jabbar killed 14 people and injured at least 35 in the early hours of New Year’s Day. The attacker, said to be an Army veteran and US citizen born in Texas, was later shot in a gunbattle with police.
Calling America a ‘disaster’ and ‘laughing stock all over the world’, Trump wrote on X, “This is what happens when you have OPEN BORDERS, with weak, ineffective, and virtually nonexistent leadership. The DOJ, FBI, and Democrat state and local prosecutors have not done their job. They are incompetent and corrupt, having spent all of their waking hours unlawfully attacking their political opponent, ME, rather than focusing on protecting Americans from the outside and inside violent SCUM that has infiltrated all aspects of our government, and our Nation itself.”
He further wrote that the Democrats should be ashamed of themselves for allowing incident to occur. “The CIA must get involved, NOW, before it is too late. The USA is breaking down – A violent erosion of Safety, National Security, and Democracy is taking place all across our Nation. Only strength and powerful leadership will stop it. See you on January 20th. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! (sic),” he added.
Besides the attack in New Orleans, another incident took place outside the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas on Wednesday morning. A man lost his life and seven others sustained injuries after a Tesla Cybertruck exploded outside the hotel.
Reacting to the incident, Tesla CEO Elon Musk said the incident “appears likely to be an act of terrorism.” “Both this Cybertruck and the F-150 suicide bomb in New Orleans were rented from Turo. Perhaps they are linked in some way,” Musk wrote on X.
