The Hindu invites students to participate in quiz contest in Vijayawada

The Hindu-Future India Club (FIC) and Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE) are jointly organising a college quiz for the students pursuing graduation in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Odisha.

The first of the four events planned will be held in Vijayawada on January 8 at VR Siddhartha Engineering College Auditorium, Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education (Deemed to be University). The other three will be held in Visakhapatnam on January 9, Bhubaneswar on January 30, and Hyderabad on February 4.

This quiz, to be conducted in English, will have two rounds: preliminary (pen and paper) and final (on stage). The students will participate as a team. One team will consist of two students from the same college. The top six teams will compete in the final round on the stage, to be held immediately.

All the participants will be given participation certificates, while finalists will be given merit certificates and trophies on the same day.

Participation in this quiz is free and is open to all. The participants can register the teams through an online link – https://forms.office.com/r/iLuY4UNntH. Also, there is an option for spot registration at the venue on the day of the event, subject to the availability of seats.

Registered participants are to report at the respective venue by 9 a.m. and must carry ID cards.
