There is a huge gap between the charger surface and the charging loop inside the phone.

Hello all.
The wireless charging on 700 as we all know is pretty useless. Not only charging is hyper slow but also the mobile heats up too much. That much heating of phone is not all good for the phone which may increase the chances of hardware/display failure or in the least a battery failure.
I may have found a partial solution to the problem which I will explain below.
The charging bay of the phone has a thick flexible rubber mat. This is in addition to the plastic cover above the wireless charger located underneath. Refer to the photographs.
So there is a huge gap between the charger surface and the charging loop inside the phone. I think this is causing the charging problem. Ideally the distance should be not more than a couple of mm.
We can easily remove the rubber mat by pulling it out while holding at the edges. Now try charging the phone by placing phone directly on the plastic surface. I have found lot of improvement in charging speed and the heating also appears to be much less.
Please try and let me know whether it works for you too.
Actually I wanted to see whether charger can be replaced but now I think problem is not with the charger but how it is integrated in the dash. Anyway replacing the charger with our own might lead to warranty issues.
