Mahindra & Mahindra’s all new born electric SUVs – BE 6 and XEV 9e – have created buzz among buyers even before their market launch. The indigenous automaker has high hopes with its upcoming INGLO (Intelligent Electric Global) platform based electric SUVs, aiming to achieve monthly sales of 5,000 units for both models during the initial period. Furthermore, the company plans to introduce these born electric SUVs in global markets “in a phased and calibrated manner”.

Mahindra To Go Global With Born EVs

Rajesh Jejurikar, Executive Director and CEO (Auto and Farm Sector) at Mahindra & Mahindra has revealed that the company will foray into some RHD (right hand drive) markets across the global including UK. In fact, it’s considering to enter the LHD (left hand drive) markets as well, but “over a period of time” and also in a phased manner. Mahindra & Mahindra aims to increase revenue from its global operations by 2.5 times by financial year 2026 and further onward. Though, the Indian automobile market will remain in its focus.
