CapitaLand to invest Rs 450 cr in another IT park in city


Hyderabad: Singapore’s CapitaLand Group, one of Asia’s largest real estate investment and development company, has announced Rs 450 crore investment to develop a state-of-the-art one million sq ft IT park in the city.
The announcement followed a high-level meeting in Singapore between the Telangana delegation led by chief minister A Revanth Reddy which included IT minister D Sridhar Babu and CapitaLand India Trust Management Pte Ltd CEO & ED Gauri Shankar Nagabhushanam, CapitaLand Investment senior executive director Manohar Khiatani and other executives.
The CM described the investment as a milestone in reinforcing Hyderabad’s position as a leading business and technology hub.
The Telangana delegation, closing its three-day Singapore leg of its two-nation tour on Sunday, is now headed for the World Economic Forum in Davos.
Speaking on the occasion, Nagabhushanam said, “Hyderabad has consistently demonstrated strong potential for business growth, supported by the Telangana govt’s progressive policies and dynamic leadership of CM Revanth Reddy. We are excited to expand our footprint in Hyderabad, leveraging its vibrant ecosystem to deliver sustainable and world-class infrastructure.”
The upcoming project is part of CapitaLand’s broader plans in the city and it will cater to the increasing demand from global capability centres (GCCs) and blue-chip companies seeking premium facilities.
CapitaLand Group’s diversified portfolio spans retail, office, lodging, logistics and data centres. In India, CapitaLand operates three prominent business parks in Hyderabad: International Tech Park Hyderabad (ITPH), aVance Hyderabad and CyberPearl.
Its earlier announced 25 MW IT load data centre in Hyderabad is on track to become operational by mid-2025, underscoring Hyderabad’s emergence as a critical node for digital infrastructure in India. The second phase of redevelopment at International Tech Park Hyderabad (ITPH) is set begin this year, with completion anticipated by 2028.
