The exhaust note is better than my Meteor 350. And the headlight performance is better than the Royal Enfield Classic 350.
BHPian IntoTheStorm recently shared this with other enthusiasts:
Took delivery of my Royal Enfield Bullet 350 Standard Black – “Hammerhead” today. The delivery process was extremely smooth and the staff was really helpful (Hridaan Motors Chinchwad).
The first thing I really enjoyed was the amazing ride quality on the broken and bumpy tarmac en route to my flat – bringing that “I did the right thing” smile to my face.
Adding a few pics below:
Adding my observations after riding for 1 day and 80 kms on various road conditions with and without a pillion:
- Ride quality as I mentioned earlier, is sublime. It soaks up bad roads, irregular surfaces and even no-road-like conditions. It feels definitely more absorbing than my Meteor 350. The seat cushion and contour greatly contribute to this plush feel
- Exhaust note is better than what I have experienced with my Meteor 350. It feels clearer and one can hear the thump, especially in low rpm, high gear, and medium throttle conditions
- Thank God they didn’t put an LED headlamp in this model. The throw and intensity is definitely good and better than Classic’s LEDs. I’ll take Halogens over LEDs any time
- It doesn’t feel heavy at all. I am 5’7″ and 70kgs – didn’t face any difficulties in pushing the vehicle, putting it on the centre stand or during slow-speed riding
- Engine, even at this running-in stage, feels smooth – there’s enough mechanical noise to “feel the connection”- no complaints here
- Front brakes are good but I’d prefer a bit more bite and feel at the rear
Hope this information helps.
Planning to go for a long ride sometime end of January. Will share a detailed update post that.
