New Royal Enfield Scram 440: Prices, Variants, Changes Explained

The new Royal Enfield Scram 440 has finally made its way to the Indian market. The bikemaker has announced the Scram 440 comes in two variants – Trail and Force – priced at Rs 2,08,000 and Rs 2,15,000, respectively. All mentioned prices are ex-showroom. The Trail variant is being offered in Blue and Green colour schemes, while the Force variant gets Blue, Grey and Teal shades. Buyers get the Trail trim with the spoke wheels and tube tyres, while the top Force variant comes with the alloy wheels and tubeless tyres.

2025 Royal Enfield Scram 440: Design Highlights

First talking about its design, the new Royal Enfield Scram 440 now features a newly-designed LED headlamp, new seat and slimmer tail section. The fuel tank also appears larger than before. The overall silhouette of the RE Scram 440 is similar to the Royal Enfield Scram 411. The bike has been assembled with the 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels shod with the 100-section and 120-section tyres, respectively. The tyres have block pattern.

Dimensions & Weight

The new Scram 440 has a fuel tank capacity of 15-litres, which is same as before. Its seat height and ground clearance stand at 795mm and 200mm, respectively. The kerb weight has increased slightly to 196kg compared to its predecessor.

Features & Tech

Coming to the features, the new Royal Enfield Scram 440 offers a new instrument cluster as we have seen in the RE Hunter 350. It also gets a USB charging port, tripper navigation pod and round rear view mirrors.

2025 Royal Enfield Scram 440: Engine

Powering the new RE Scram 440 is the 443cc, single-cylinder, air & oil-cooled engine paired to a 6-speed gearbox replacing the 5-speed unit. This motor pushes out a maximum power of 25.4PS at 6,250rpm and 34Nm of torque at 4,000rpm. Compared to its predecessor, the new model offers an additional 1.1PS and 2Nm. Royal Enfield claims that the bike features a more refined SOHC valvetrain to reduce its NVH levels.

Suspension & Braking:

For performing suspension duties, the bike has the 41mm telescopic fork with 190mm of wheel travel and a monoshock with 180mm of wheel travel. The braking system consists of a 300mm disc and a 240mm disc brakes, fitted at the front and rear axles, respectively. The bike gets the dual-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system) as standard.
