What is the educational qualification required for RRB Group D?
To apply for this recruitment of Railway Group D, candidates must have passed 10th from a recognized university. Apart from this, no other qualification has been sought. Earlier, for Railway Group D Technical Department, along with 10th, NAAC or ITI diploma was also required. But this time it has been removed from the essential qualifications. What is the age limit for RRB Group D?
To apply for this recruitment of Railway Group D Level-1, the minimum age of the candidates should be 18 years and maximum age should be 36 years. The age limit of the candidates will be calculated as on 1 January 2025. Candidates up to this age limit will be eligible to apply for this recruitment. RRB Group D Age Limit for OBC
OBC-Non Creamy Layer candidates have been given relaxation of 3 years in upper age. Whereas for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe category, a relaxation of 5 years has been given in this recruitment of Railways. That is, OBC candidates should not be born before 2 January 1989 and SC/ST candidates should not be born before 02 January 1984. How is PET conducted in Railway Group D?
In this recruitment of Railways, candidates will be selected through Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination. Candidates who qualify CBT will also have to clear PET test. In PET test, male candidates will have to complete a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes with a weight of 35 kg. Whereas female candidates will have to walk 100 meters in 2 minutes with a weight of 20 kg. Apart from this, running of 1000 meters will also have to be done.
