How often do you take the back seat in your own car? Is it a regular thing, or are you guys like me, perpetually glued to the driving seat?

So, something kinda weird just struck me. I was thinking about the last 8 years of car ownership in our family, and you know what? I can’t remember the last time I actually sat in the back seat of any of our cars! Seriously. Not even the co-passenger seat for the last five years, to be honest. Always behind the wheel, like a true driver sahib!
It got me wondering, am I the only one who’s practically welded to the driver’s seat? Hence, this thread! I’m genuinely curious to know how often other BHPians actually experience the rear seats of their own cars.
My family keeps trying to push me into the back, especially when we’re going on long trips or when someone else wants to drive. But man, I get so bored back there! It’s like I’m not in control, you know? I’d much rather be behind the wheel, feeling the road and hearing that engine roar.
How often do you take the back seat in your own car? Is it a regular thing, or are you guys like me, perpetually glued to the driving seat? Any hilarious back seat experiences?
Here’s a representative image of what my car’s deserted back seat looks like. In a small family, mostly no one occupies the back seat when we are going on daily errands.

After reading your question, I was thinking about the times I have sat in the back seat of my car. I guess I always sit in the front row.
It’s always me who drives my car, so obviously, I am in the driver’s seat almost all the time. Although there were a few instances when someone else was driving, I was sitting in the passenger seat at that time. I don’t think I have ever sat in the back seat of my car.
Next time someone else offers to drive, I will try sitting in the back seat just to get the feel of it.

I always wanted to experience Skoda Superb Back seat which I own and is known for one of the best legroom and comfort in its class. Unfortunately, yet to be in the back seat. Only once when I was discharged from hospital after treatment, my daughter drove me all the way to home in our Jazz & got frustrated soon with my back seat driving. All her love and affection evaporated in minutes.
Just FYI my wife and daughter, both love driving for each other but for me.

Never in my Beat during my 14 years and 8 months of ownership (123800 kms). And less than 10 times in the passenger seat while doing some test drives after the scheduled service.
