The Tata Harrier EV is now inching closer to its market launch, which is likely to happen next month. It will be the sixth electric offering from the indigenous automaker and the first product launch this year. The Harrier EV was showcased in its close-to-production version at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Show last month. Let’s take a look at all key details of this upcoming Tata electric SUV that we know so far.
Range, Battery & Specs:
Based on the Acti.ev platform, the Tata Harrier EV could be offered with two battery pack options. The higher-spec model might feature a 75kWh battery pack with dual electric motor and AWD (all-wheel drive) system. While its power figure is yet to be announced, the torque output will be 500Nm. The EV is likely to offer a maximum range of up to 600km.

The battery packs will support both 11kWh AC charger and DC fast charger of up to 150kW. It will come with the vehicle-to-load (V2L) and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) charging functionalities. The Harrier EV will also be equipped with the terrain response system with multiple drive modes, rear independent suspension and a rear electric motor.

Features:
We had a few glimpses of its interior in spy images, confirming its resemblance with the ICE counterpart. The Tata Harrier EV will have the same 12.3-inch free-standing infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, dual-zone climate control, a digital instrument cluster, a four-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo, wireless phone chargring, a 360 degree surround camera with blind spot monitoring, connected car tech, cloud-connected telematics, OTA (over-the-air) udpates, a panoramic sunroof, Level 2 ADAS, etc.
Design Elements:
Unlike its ICE counterpart, the Harrier EV will feature a closed-off front grille along with the slightly revised bumpers, newly-designed aero-optimized alloy wheels in dual-tone finish and ‘EV’ badging on the front doors and tailgate.
