Post-trade market infrastructure provider for global financial services industry DTCC (Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation) on Monday (February 3) opened its new office in the city, a facility with 500 high-skilled jobs. The company plans to raise the staff strength to 2,000 in the coming years.

“These 500 roles are just the beginning. We are not just creating jobs—we are empowering our youth to master global financial systems while anchoring growth here at home,” said Minister for IT and Industries D. Sridhar Babu after inaugurating the office.

DTCC’s expansion signals Hyderabad’s rapid emergence as a magnet for global enterprises seeking talent and technological prowess, he said, highlighting the corporation’s pledge to prioritise local hiring.

“Hyderabad is no longer just an IT hub. It is where fintech, biotech and AI converge,” he told the gathering. “Bring your boldest ideas here. We offer skilled talent, policy agility and the freedom to innovate,” the Minister’s office said in a release on his speech.

DTCC’s chief financial officer Rene Laroque Morais and chief information officer Lynn Bishop were among those present during the inauguration.
