Hyderabad:The city’s residential market held steady in 2024 with 75,512 property registrations, a marginal increase from 74,495 in 2023, according to a survey by IGR Squareyards. However, the total value of home sales surged by 13 per cent to Rs 45,190 crore, driven by demand for mid-to-high-end properties.
The October-December quarter saw a 12 per cent fall in transactions, attributed to cautious buyer sentiment following the establishment of the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA). Sales dipped to 15,941 units while the average property price rose 8 per cent annually to Rs 60 lakh.
Aparna Constructions led the market recording Rs 563 crore in sales, followed by Brigade at Rs 264 crore. Western Hyderabad remained the most active zone, capturing 46 per cent of transactions.
Experts predict renewed growth as infrastructure projects and IT expansions fuel demand.
