Akkineni youngster Naga Chaitanya has been struggling to deliver an impressive film. His recent films Thank You and Custody ended up as debacles. He played an important role in Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha and the film too was rejected badly. Naga Chaitanya dedicated over a year for Thandel and the film released today. The film is receiving positive response and the word of mouth is impressive. The film opened on a decent note all over. Naga Chaitanya’s performance has been unanimously appreciated by the audience. Some of them claim that Naga Chaitanya dominated Sai Pallavi in the film.
The last twenty minutes of Thandel is the major highlight of the film and Naga Chaitanya dominated the climax episode with his performance. This is the first time, the performance of Naga Chaitanya is receiving unanimous response. His fans are left in delight. It was not that easy for Chaitanya. He has done enough homework, lived with the fishermen, undershoot their body language, got trained with the exact diction and he took enough care on his looks and the costumes. Sai Pallavi too delivered her best in the film. Thandel is directed by Chandoo Mondeti and produced by GA2 Pictures. DSP’s work too is widely appreciated.
