Now that One UI 7.0 is about to be released to select Samsung phones, the company has announced (via @tarunvats33) a significant change to its advanced image editing app, Galaxy Enhance-X. It will help you save storage space on your device.
Galaxy Enhance-X app can save space by downloading only the features you need
The Galaxy Enhance-X app is getting what Samsung is calling a ‘Downloadable Feature.’ This allows you to download only those features or modules that you need so that the app doesn’t take up too much storage space on your phone or tablet.
Right now, the only Downloadable Features are Camera Shift and Sky Guide. However, the company said it will bring more such downloadable modules in the future. This feature is only available on devices running One UI 7.0.
If you face a storage space crunch on your Galaxy phone or tablet, you can uninstall those modules if they are installed to free up some space.
The Camera Shift feature allows you to change the vertical angle of an image. It lets you correct the vertical composition of the shot to make your images look better. The Sky Guide feature lets you analyze and detect stars and other sky objects in the images with sky in them.
The Galaxy Enhance-X app is compatible with the following device series:
- Galaxy S21
- Galaxy S22
