Hyderabad-based VEM Technologies has announced that the Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA), for which it has contributed in manufacturing end-to-end modules of composites, assembly and integration of the entire body, will be unveiled by Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh during the ‘Aero India 2025’ international exhibition beginning in Bengaluru on Monday.
The show, being organised by the Ministry of Defence in collaboration with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) and Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), will have over 60 countries participating and demonstrating their strengths in air warfare.
VEM Technologies deals with the design, development and manufacturing of systems for a range of weapons, aeronautics and space. It is into manufacturing of fuselages, generators and a range of onboard systems for fighter aircraft and helicopters covering all the three services of Army, Navy and Air Force.
The company is also offering the indigenously-developed “Anti-Tank Guided Missile, AsiBal” and is coming out with a series of missile systems for land and air defence applications — ‘Vismai’, ‘Ajita’, ‘Vidhwams’ and anti-drone warfare systems, said an official release on Sunday.
