A luxury cruise service is set to be launched for tourists, operating between Chennai, Visakhapatnam, and Puducherry in June and July this year. The Cordelia Cruise will facilitate these journeys, as announced during a travel agents’ meeting held in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday.
As part of three scheduled services, the first cruise will depart from Chennai on June 30 and reach Visakhapatnam on July 2. On the same day, it will set sail for Puducherry, arriving on July 4. The return journey will commence on July 4 from Puducherry, reaching Chennai on July 5.
The second cruise will depart Chennai on July 7, arriving in Visakhapatnam on July 9, followed by a journey to Puducherry on July 11, and a return to Chennai on July 12.
The third service will begin on July 14 from Chennai, arriving in Visakhapatnam on July 16. It will then proceed to Puducherry on July 18 before concluding in Chennai on July 19.
Many tourists have shown interest in this luxury cruise experience. In the past, a cruise ship’s arrival at Visakhapatnam’s coast attracted a large crowd of onlookers. Given the growing enthusiasm, the operators have decided to introduce this cruise service to cater to the rising demand.
