Hyderabad: An unidentified man died after he was hit by a train when he reportedly was crossing the railway tracks at Udamgadda in Mailardevpally on the city outskirts on Tuesday.
The victim, suspected to be aged in his fifties, was crossing the tracks at a level crossing and is suspected to have missed to notice the train fast approaching and ended up being mowed down.
His body was thrown away at a distance from the mishap spot. He died instantly due to multiple grievous bleeding injuries.
The Government Railway Police booked a case and shifted the body to the Osmania General Hospital for autopsy.
