Rajalinga Murthy Faced More than 18 Cases for Fighting Against BRS Leaders


Hyderabad: A 50-year-old Nagavelli Rajalinga Murthy, who was killed by miscreants a few days ago in Bhupalpally, faced more than 18 cases registered at different places for fighting against the BRS leaders and former MLA Gandra Venkat Ramana Reddy. Meanwhile, the Bupalpally police is likely to announce the arrest of suspects indulged in killing the victim on Saturday.

According to sources, Rajalinga Murthy raised his voice against the former MLA Gandra Venkat Ramana Reddy’s alleged illegal activities in the district and Hyderabad. He also filed several petitions before the court seeking against the BRS leaders. Rajalinga Murthy filed a complaint with the HYDRAA against Gandra Venkata Raman Reddy and his wife for allegedly encroaching Sikham land in Bachupally area and constructing houses.

Similarly, Rajalinga Murthy also collected information under RTI from the district authority of Bhupalpally and filed a petition before the district collector of the district alleging that Gandra Venkat Ramana Reddy and his wife Jyothi allegedly encroached land located at FTL worth Rs 15 crore.

Rajalinga Murthy also lodged a complaint with the government against former MLA and BRS leader Ramana Reddy for encroaching five acres land in Bhupalpally by the BRS leaders and they influenced the then revenue officers. Rajalinga Murthy also lodged a complaint with the district collector that the then revenue officers changed the details of 106 acres of land after Gandra Venkata Ramana Reddy occupied forest land of six acres. He also filed a petition before the high court in connection with the land records being changed by the revenue officials deliberately to make a favour to the former MLA.
