Turkiye’s India destination promotion event 2025 hosts enthusiastic third leg in Hyderabad-Telangana Today

Turkiye’s India destination promotion event 2025 hosts enthusiastic third leg in Hyderabad


Hyderabad: The Ministry of Culture & Tourism of the Republic of Türkiye and the Türkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA) successfully hosted the third leg of their six-city India Destination Promotion Event in Hyderabad.

Following successful editions in Kolkata and Chennai, the Hyderabad event attracted 200 participants, including leading destination management companies, luxury hoteliers, and specialized tour operators. The gathering highlighted the growing interest of Indian travelers in Türkiye’s diverse tourism experiences.


The event was graced by Mr. Onur Gozet, Deputy Director General for Promotion, Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Türkiye, and Mr. Orhan Yalman Okan, Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in Hyderabad. They engaged in discussions with industry professionals on enhancing bilateral tourism and business collaborations. Mr. M.A. Faiz Khan, Chairman of the Indo-Türkiye Friendship Association (ITFA), also delivered a welcome address.

A key highlight was the emphasis on strengthening air connectivity, with discussions on potential direct Istanbul-Hyderabad flights by Turkish Airlines. Turkish Airlines and IndiGo played a crucial role in supporting the initiative.

With engaging presentations, B2B networking sessions, and exclusive travel giveaways, the event reinforced the growing tourism ties between India and Türkiye. The campaign now moves to Bangalore, Ahmedabad, and Mumbai, continuing its mission to inspire Indian travelers to explore Türkiye.
