WARANGAL: The National Institute of Technology Warangal (NITW) is gearing up to host its celebrated cultural festival, “Spring Spree,” from February 28 to March 2. Announcing the details at a press meet on Thursday, NITW director Prof. Bidyadhar Subudhi highlighted the festival’s legacy, which dates back to 1978, and its reputation as one of South India’s largest cultural gatherings.
Spring Spree 2025 promises an exciting lineup of events, competitions, and performances, encompassing art, literature, drama, music, photography, and fashion shows, among others. Renowned artists and performers are set to take the stage, elevating the atmosphere with electrifying pro shows. Prof. Subudhi emphasised that this year’s edition will offer an unforgettable experience, brimming with cultural vibrancy and intellectual engagement.
On February 28, legendary comedian and actor Padma Shri Dr K. Brahmanandam will inaugurate the festival as the chief guest. The following day, March 1, will feature a performance by Indian rock band Vortex, known for its fusion of folk, rock, and alternative music. Concluding the festivities on March 2, popular singer Amit Trivedi will perform at a grand musical night.
In addition to the star-studded performances, the festival will showcase an array of competitions, workshops, and interactive sessions, including stage plays, dramas, filmmaking, dance, and gaming. Students from across the country are expected to converge on the NIT Warangal campus, making Spring Spree 2025 a dynamic platform for talent, creativity, and cultural exchange.
