2025 Kia Carens Facelift Launching Next Month

The Kia Carens compact MPV from the South Korean automaker is all set to receive a midlife update in April, 2025. Interestingly, the company will also roll out its electric iteration just after two months of its ICE version (i.e. June). The Carens facelift is likely to witness a few noticeable changes inside and out, while retaining the existing engine setup. Here are all key details of the 2025 Kia Carens facelift that we know so far.

  • Starting with the major feature upgrades, the updated Carens is expected to come with the first-in-segment Level 2 ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) suite and a 360 degree camera. The ADAS is likely to offer safety features such as lane keep assist, smart cruise control, forward collision warning or avoidance, lane departure warning, high beam assist, blind spot collision warning and avoidance assist, rear cross traffic warning, etc. If offered, it could be reserved for the top-end trim.

  • The compact MPV might also get a redesigned dashboard, new upholstery and trims. The rest of the cabin layout and feature kit will be carried forward to the facelift model.
  • The 2025 Kia Carens facelift is likely to borrow the headlamp and DRLs from the Syros premium compact SUV. The front and rear bumpers might also be revised. The newly-designed alloy wheels and vertically positioned taillamps connected by an LED light bar will further give it a refreshing look.
  • As mentioned above, the new Kia Carens will continue to feature the 115bhp, 1.5L petrol, 160bhp, 1.5L turbo petrol and 116bhp, 1.5L diesel engines. A 6-speed manual gearbox will be standard. The compact MPV will also be available with the 6-speed iMT, 6-speed torque convertor automatic and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission options.
  • A minor price hike is expected. The new 2025 Kia Carens facelift might cost between Rs 11 lakh – Rs 20 lakh, making it nearly Rs 30,000 – Rs 40,000 more expensive than the pre-facelift version.
