Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR will be sharing the screen for the first time in War 2 which aims for an Independence Day release later this year.
Being called as the biggest film of 2025, fans have huge expectations from the film as Hrithik Roshan will be once again seen in his signature avatar alongside another high profile action star Jr NTR.

While Hrithik fans were elated and excited for War 2, there expectations and hype is slowly fading given the promotions and engagement for the film by Yash Raj Films so far.
Which was seen as a huge blockbuster with over 1000 crores collection, is now slowly looking like another 500 crore club film due to several reasons.

It was reported that the film will face compeitiotn from Vivek Agnihotri’s The Delhi Files. Though the film might not be a massy entertainer but the film will reflect some eye opening topics and if things fit just like they did with The Kashmir Files, War 2 might be in trouble.
Not only Delhi Files, but the film will also face huge competition from Rajinikanth’s Coolie which is also scheduled to release in August.

While fans are worrying for War 2 and its competition, it is worth noting that YRF has strategically bolstered the box office with their high profile films over the years despite competition.
As Jr NTR’s birthday approaches on May 20, something big might be in store for the fans to restore the hype and excitement for War 2.
All in all, it does not matter how tough the compeititon is or how weak the promotional campaigning is, War 2 will certainly have a blast at the box office given the star power and fan following. It remaisn to be seen how the film turns out to be in the theatres.
