Akhil Akkineni has changed his approach to selecting films after the impact of a movie that was released two years ago. He has moved away from the typical mass hero mindset of choosing only commercial, mass-oriented scripts.
This is why, despite several rumors about his new project, nothing was finalized for a long time. However, after careful consideration, he has now locked a film with Murali Kishore Abburu, the director of Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha.

The shooting for this new film is currently underway in specially constructed sets across various locations in Hyderabad. However, there has been no official announcement from the team yet. Reports suggest that the film might be titled Lenin.
Apart from this, Akhil is also reportedly set to work on a massive period drama under the UV Creations banner, directed by newcomer Anil. The film is said to be in the pre-production stage.

In addition to these two projects, Akhil has reportedly given the green signal to another film. He has approved a script narrated by Nandu, who co-wrote Samajavaragamana.
This upcoming film is expected to be an entertaining project. If everything goes as planned, the shooting will begin by the end of the year, with Srinivas Chitturi as the producer.
