HYDRAA Commissioner inspects lake, reprimands builder

Commissioner Hyderabad Disaster Response & Asset Protection Agency A.V.Ranganath inspected the Kottakunta lake (Nanakram Lake) at Khajaguda on Tuesday in order to take stock of the encroachments alleged by legislator Anirudh Reddy.

Mr. Anirudh Reddy levelled allegations that Vamsiram Builders had encroached into the full tank level of the lake, asking HYDRAA’s intervention.

Mr. Ranganath spoke to the company’s representatives and asked them to clear the material dumped into the lake within three to four days. He warned them of stringent action if they do not comply. He said joint inspection will be conducted to know the FTL of the lake, a press communique from HYDRAA informed.
