Former Minister of Andhra Pradesh and YSRCP leader Kodali Nani was admitted to Hyderabad’s AIG Hospital due to health issues, said the party on Wednesday. According to reports, Nani was rushed to Gachibowli AIG Hospital in Hyderabad early Wednesday after experiencing severe chest pain. “Family members immediately took action,” Hans reported.
While initial reports suggested that Kodali Nani had suffered a heart attack, doctors at AIG Hospital clarified that his condition is being treated for a gastric issue, the report added. “They have not yet confirmed a heart attack,” it stated.
Former CM YS Reddy expressed concern over the incident.
Who is Kodali Nani?
Nani, 53, is a former member of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly who represented the Gudivada assembly constituency for two decades in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative assembly. He was a minister for Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs in the Andhra Pradesh cabinet. He has political affiliations with YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) since 2012.
He started his political journey with the Telugu Desam Party (TDP).
