Hyderabad: Upset over personal problems, a doctor allegedly died by suicide on the railway tracks between Cavalry Barracks and Bolarum railway station late on Wednesday.
The victim was identified as Purohit Kishore Prakashmal (34), a resident of Pradhanampuri Colony in Kapra, who was working as doctor at the Basthi Dawakhana in Alwal.
Police said Kishore Prakashmal was upset over his personal issues for the past some days. On Wednesday, he ended his life by jumping in front of a running train on the down main line between Cavalry Barracks and Bolarum railway station. On being alerted by the loco pilot of the train, the railway police reached the spot and shifted the remains to the Gandhi Hospital.
The Government Railway Police have booked a case and investigating. The family raised no suspicion in the death.
