Desperate Measures For Big Pan-India Film Tiger 3

Salman Khan after a spate of disasters is trying to make a huge comeback with Yash Raj Films’ Tiger 3 which is releasing on Sunday, November 12.

Despite being part of the biggest franchise in Bollywood, the hype for Tiger 3 has always been on the lower side. The average trailer and mediocre song didn’t do the trick for the film.

The film’s advance bookings were opened in the US and other overseas markets and the response has been just decent which is not enough for a 300-crore film like Tiger 3. Producer Aditya Chopra seems to have become nervous and he is now opting for desperate measures.

Usually cameos in a film are kept as a surprise so that it gives that extra kick of entertainment to the audience while watching the film. But Yash Raj Films revealed yesterday that not only Shah Rukh Khan but Hrithik Roshan will also be seen playing his Kabir character from War.

This seems to be a ploy to pull the audience in hordes during the first few days of the Diwali festive season and make money as much money as possible before word of mouth starts affecting the collections. They are using all their cards before the release itself to bring in the footfalls.

The die-hard fans of the franchise are quite disappointed that YRF revealed all the surprises one week before the release just to boost up the advance sale of tickets. That means the makers are looking for a short-term advantage instead of a long-term one which sounds a bit fishy.

As of now, Tiger 3 has sold 10,000 tickets in PVR, INOX & CINEPOLIS! We have to see if it can match the presales of Jawan (5,57,00), Pathaan (5,55,000), and KGF 2 (5,15,00). As of now Tiger 3 is on course to cross the pre-sales of Brahmastra which stood at 3,02,00. The film is all set to take an opening of 40 crores on its opening day (Diwali).
