Talented young actress, Sree Leela has all the right attributes to make for a perfect commercial heroine in Tollywood. She is a brilliant dancer, has the right looks, and instant connect with the youth.
Well, she has every other thing in abundance, it appears that the actress is seriously lacking in terms of script selection.

We don’t quite know if Leela is struggling with her creative choices or whether if these are the only kind of subjects that are approaching her, but rarely is she being a part of winning commercial film.
After Decent Hit in the form of Dhamaka, She Did Skanda, Bhagwant Kesari, Aadikeshava, Extraordinary Man, Guntur Kaaram and Robinhood.

It could be argued that Bhagwant Kesari is a decent hit, but at the same time, Leela did not play a mainstream heroine in this film. So, it added very little mileage to her. There was this Guntur kara later, and again, this film was an average performer and Leela couldn’t generate much interest with the same either.
Apart from that every creative choice of Leela has been backfiring. The hot presence in the Kissik song in Pushpa 2 worked. But this is also not enough to revive her struggling career now.

It is perhaps time for the actress to actually set focus on proper commercial films and make sure that her next two projects have a decent scope for her as an actress and also commercial prospects.
Leela has virtually to become a top actress in Tollywood, but luck simply isn’t favouring her. Perhaps a change in methodology and trying out new scripts could be the game changer for her.
